To all young, motivated people who want to see nuclear weapons banned,
BANg (Ban All Nukes Generation) and ICAN (International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons) invite you to become part of their newest project for youth:
Claim Your Voice, Ban the Bomb
If you feel threatened by the existence of still more than 20 000 nuclear weapons around the world and want to take it in your own hands to see them banned – this project is made for you! All you need to do is to get together a group of 2-4 motivated people between 16 and 25 who are willing to work on the subject of nuclear abolishion and are full of motivation and ideas. BANg and ICAN will give you the space to develop your own projects. Come and profit from the knowledge and know-how of experts and experienced campaigners! Become part of the movement and get involved in the fight against nuclear weapons! Bring in your own ideas and make them come to reality! Talk with diplomats, politicians and experts and let them know what you think!
The project will last a whole year (January – December 2013) and will include a training and action week at the conference of humanitarian consequences of nuclear weapons in Oslo from February 27th to March 6th 2013.
